2021 Christmas Tree exhibit begins Nov. 1st

LecomptonKSEvents, In the News

Enjoy the 2021 Christmas tree exhibit featuring Victorian, antique, and themed ornaments and décor from the past! All of the trees are inside the Territorial Capital Museum. Featured are feather trees from Europe, silver aluminum trees popular in the US in the 1950’s and 60’s, flocked artificial trees, miniature trees, ceramic trees, barbed wire trees, drift wood trees and many, many more! There is no admission fee but donations are greatly appreciated and help us maintain the museum and it’s collections. We also offer itineraries to tour groups including a performance of the Bleeding Kansas play by the Lecompton Reenactors with the help of audience members!

While in Lecompton, enjoy our quaint downtown with merchants, restaurants, and a winery! The Constitution Hall a National Historic Site is also downtown and will be open to visitors.
